Book Mail

Happy 1st day of fall you beautiful people!
I cannot get enough of autumn themed photos, pumpkins, coffee, cinnamon & spices! Candles are my kryptonite right now, I have a fantastic pumpkin spice set just waiting to be lit ♡

It’s one of those weeks where I don’t have many announcements, and am nearly finished with a book for review leaving me out of content until next week! Then I realized how much book mail I’ve gotten this week that I am so excited about! Thought I’d share them here, giving you guys a sneak peek before I do some shoots for Instagram.

I received Just Fine With Caroline yesterday from the fantastic Annie England Noblin for review here on the blog! I’m pretty excited about this one and cannot wait to get started this weekend. It goes on sale October 11th, so pre-order it and add it to the top of your “tbr” list ASAP!

Imagine my thrill and excitement when I opened it up and saw that she had signed it for me too! Made a book gal’s day :) Thanks Annie!

For this next one I have to be entirely honest in saying that I ordered it only because of the media hype that it’s caused. I am not one to read a book just because it is popular, but having found out that Owlcrate’s September “Darkness”box would have something to do with it too, I got even more excited and just couldn’t wait. This one came earlier in the week, I haven’t even had the chance to photograph it for Insta yet :D It did become a bit more engaging when I pulled it up on Amazon and read part of their blurb,

six-of-crows-book-mail“Ketterdam: a bustling hub of international trade where anything can be had for the right price–and no one knows that better than criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker. Kaz is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But he can’t pull it off alone…

A convict with a thirst for revenge.
A sharpshooter who can’t walk away from a wager.
A runaway with a privileged past.
A spy known as the Wraith.
A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums.
A thief with a gift for unlikely escapes.

Six dangerous outcasts. One impossible heist. Kaz’s crew is the only thing that might stand between the world and destruction―if they don’t kill each other first.”

Throne of Glass
is another curiosity read for me. Seems to be that kind of week. Having seen it so often on Instagram, I couldn’t help but try it out too. I can’t believe how MANY books Sarah J Maas has written! If I enjoy this as much as I am hoping, I don’t think I’ll run out of books to read for quite some time.

Now for some exciting news, I’ve partnered with New Leaf Literary Media, Inc. to provide my Instagram followers with a giveaway copy of the newly released (9/20) Stealing Snow by Danielle Paige! Keep an eye out for the announcement here next week, and if you have a bookish IG make sure you follow me for updates!

Next week will be full of exciting things! My review of The Wolf Road by Beth Lewis will be posted Tuesday, following that I will have an Owlcrate sub-box review that I am teaming up with a guest blogger to bring you, and so much more!
